Styling J Brand Jeans 3 Ways

August 16, 2019

Ok so I’ve always been a fan of J Brand Jeans since basically high school when they came on my radar. Back then I had to beg my mom to spend the $200 on jeans for me so I gotta say I had to choose wisely. Unfortunately I never was graced with the jeans until I got older and could buy them from Nordstrom Rack (real talk). Anyway I approached J Brand to see if I could style 3 of their pieces of denim! I gotta say they are all so different and I loved being able to put something together that completely encompassed my style while (hopefully) still being relatable! Basically the whole purpose of this is that J Brand has a ton of denim options and I think sometimes I steer way too close to the same kind of jeans everywhere I go and needed to challenge myself to something new.

High Waisted Acid Wash Skinnies

This pair was probably the pair I was most excited for (and I’m sure you can see why) These are the most flattering (and comfy) pair of skinnies! The wash and the buttons up top make these jeans but what I absolutely adore most about them is actually how high the waist really is. There are plenty of times I reach for high waisted jeans and super cropped tops just don’t work with them. With these you can have a really chic and edgy look in an instant.

Pops of Pink

My second look features this beautiful iridescent top by JBrand as well. What I love about this pair of skinny jeans is the exposed button detailing, not to mention they have a coating on the denim so it feels as though I’m going to have an easier time NOT getting these super dingy haha. They also hug in all the right places and don’t leave that awkward gap if you were to squat down. I love this outfit because of it’s simplicity but also gives you a bit of a stand out look. I first picked up some white boots to go with this look but realized the crop of the denim would be perfect with some white strappy sandals and I think I made the right choice.

Raw Hem Cropped Dream

My final look features this high waisted pair of blue kick flare denim with raw hems. When I write that down it sounds like a lot happening but with the detailing being so subtle it just creates a really chic pair of denim. I wanted this look to be a sort of casual chic energy so I threw on a super cropped black tee, oversized plaid blazer, cute wristlet bag and of course flip flops! Not sure if anyone else is as into flip flops as I am right now but they are definitely my go-to for outfits. There’s something about having such a casual shoe with a blazer that makes this look slightly ironic.
