Cool Girl Handbags on a Budget

April 13, 2019

We are in an age where fast fashion has run rampant and there’s almost a knockoff for everything within 24 hours. I completely understand the desire for these amazing pieces (trust me I’ve been one to purchase a “cheaper” version back in the day). What I’ve realized with age and honestly just learning to love really nice pieces I’ve thought through made me focus more on smaller brands that still withhold a price point that is reasonable for the average guy/girl. It’s truly unrealistic to promote Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags as a lot of us have other things we need to spend our money on, so I wanted to share some really great handbag companies that are totally within price point for those who want that cool bag on a budget.

Danse Lente

Key Features: Unique shapes, Color Blocking, High Quality

Price Point: $300 – $600

I came across Danse Lente a few fashion week’s ago when I saw some bloggers carrying them. I absolutely fell in love and when I was able to receive a bag it was life changing. It’s a great conversation starter and has the most unique shapes and styles on top of really fun color blocking. Trust me when I say you will ALWAYS get compliments on these bags.

Margi Gaba

Key Features: Simplistic Design, 90s Inspired, Tiny Bag Focus

Price Point: $189 – $215

I recently came across a new designer entitled Margi Gaba and fell in love with her designs. I am on a tiny bag and baguette bag fix and wanted something cool and different. This met my needs incredibly considering I wasn’t looking to spend more than $200 on a bag. I picked up the 2814 bag which is a traditional 90s inspired handbag that fits perfectly under the arm and comes in a few colors and a croc embossed look. I’d keep this designer on your radar because I have a feeling future collections will be that much greater.

Cafune

Key Features: Perfectly structured, on trend colors, size and style variety

Price Point: $200 – $600

I’ve worn Cafune bags for about three years now and am loving the direction their designs are going. Their bucket bag was my absolute go-to bag for it’s structure and size. I have the larger and the smaller version and they pretty much fit and go with everything. Recently I received the “egg” bag which is a really cute wristlet. This is a great brand that has really high quality pieces you’ll want to wear all the time.

Little Liffner

Key Features: Trendy, Cool Girl, Neutral

Price Point: $350 – $600

Again, another designer I’ve known about for awhile but finally got my first bag and couldn’t be happier! They have some amazing baguette styles and unique shapes to their bags that I couldn’t resist. They also epitomize the “cool girl” persona I feel. I’m excited to explore future collections from them and I have to say with the price point it’s an incredibly reasonable designer to lean towards for a really cool and quality bag.
