Everlane Basics

There’s no doubt you’ve heard of Everlane, from their incredible basics to their savvy marketing they have become more of a household name since their introduction in 2010. In the past 4 years or so however they have really expanded into their space being one of the first to truly show transparency when it comes to the quality and pricing of their pieces. Everlane is one of those companies that you feel good purchasing from and the product is actually fantastic.

I was gifted one of their basics kits as well as selected a few pieces from their new collection that are perfect for holiday get togethers.

For my first look I received a pair of their Cheeky Straight jeans in washed black. I still to this day get nervous receiving jeans via online mainly because you just NEVER know. I always follow sizing guides and measurements but without carefully analyzing the materials within the jeans, the amount of stretch, plus always seeming to be in between sizes it can be daunting. I love the fact that Everlane has so many different options to get you the style and look you are craving. I don’t have a good pair of high waisted skinny/straight jeans so these were phenomenal when I received! They fit me perfectly but still had a bit of stretch so they weren’t so uncomfortable in the waist like a lot of other jeans I have. On the plus however the stretch is still minimal in them so you won’t lose the shape after 1 or 2 wears like some other jeans! Another one of their best sellers is their day heel. This is the PERFECT heel for all occasions from office wear to going out to just wanting to throw on a cute pair of shoes with your outfit. My favorite part about these are that they didn’t need to be broken in. The elastic on the back really helps with that.
