Ok guys and gals, as I mentioned previously I’ve been on this kick with silky midi skirts. I’ve been seeing them on the likeness of Maria Bernad , Jeanne, and AnneLaure Mais and while I always have loved mid length pieces for some reason skirts in the past were either too flared at the bottom or had an a-line cut that just didn’t vibe with me. I’m not crazy tall nor am I considered short, actually I think my height is considered “average” for a woman so from time to time I get stuck in a rut of Petite items being wayyyy too short and regular pieces not elongating enough. The recent influx of silky midi skirts with bold prints and bright colors are my new favorite pieces to load up into my closet. At the moment I have another skirt in my shopping cart along with a beaded handbag.

I have always been a fan of Parisian style but when Spring and Summer rolls around and the older I get, the more relatable the style is for me. It’s sexy, feminine, yet classic and dare I say classy. These midi skirts have not only been something I’m really a fan of, it seems like my readers are also really interested in the various ways of styling them! I’m excited to share a bunch of my favorite midi skirts right now listed above. If I could have them all, I 100% would but my husband would also 100% hate me haha. My go-to look would have to be a statement midi skirt, a printed or funky blouse and simple strappy sandals along with some killer sunglasses. By the way, these ones from Sonix are MY LIFE right now. They did a collaboration with For Love and Lemons and these babies are so darn flattering on my face it isn’t even funny. I know a lot of people are kind of iffy on the “small sunglasses” trend but I feel like these would be great training wheels for those who want to test the waters. They aren’t so small on the face but have the same kind of early 2000s shape.
