Seriously 70s vibing as of late so I had to hit up H&M to checkout their latest collection. The classic a-line skirt can be worn with just about anything and the suede and button down accents add extra texture and flair to what otherwise would be a pretty simple basic. I went for a more mod 70s approach with my look having chosen one of my favorite crop tops from CSBLA but pairing this skirt with an off shoulder long sleeve crop top is next on the list! The skirt hits the perfect spot on my waist and is a great length for crop tops when you don’t want to expose too much tummy. My favorite part of a-line skirts that are structured such as this one, is that you don’t have to worry about blustery days. There’s nothing I hate more than trying to hold down a skirt whilst carrying a ton of bags for work (they call me the bag lady).

On another big purchase note, these little Sam Edelman babies on my feet are everything I’ve wanted and more. I’m loving the laced up sandal look but wanted something a little more casual that I can wear running around on weekends or even at work (without committing to walking around all day in heels). What I loved most about these was the leg wraps and the short heel that adds a little height into the equation. I’ve already worn them with this outfit as well as with some boyfriend jeans and an oversized button up. They are completely versatile since as you know, I’m not one for having a “boho” style. Just goes to show you that you CAN make an outfit whatever you’d like, no labels need be attached.
