Favorite Swimwear Companies

Her Line High Waisted Swim Two Piece

While it seems that summer is making it’s exit, it’s still going strong here in Southern California. That being said, I know it’s probably bad timing to write a post about my favorite swimwear companies while it’s mid August but hey, sometimes I’m ready to take a little tropical vacation and there are NO posts about swim and I feel a bit stuck so this is for everyone who might also be in that predicament. I recently took a trip to Korakia Pensione in Palm Springs and let me tell you it was a really great experience. One of the most relaxing Palm Springs trips I’ve been on. The resort caters to adults who are looking for peace and tranquility. The decor focuses on Moroccan and Mediterranean styles with two pools and free breakfast during your stay. There also aren’t any TV’s in the rooms which actually made it super easy to get to bed and be more active while you are on your vacation. The pools were peaceful and quiet as well as salt water based so no harsh chlorine here. The other thing that was cool was that there isn’t any alcohol sold on the premises but you are welcome to bring your own and they will provide any kind of ice or glass wear for you. During my stay I was able to bring out the immense amount of swimwear I’ve been hoarding in my closet and decided to put together some of my favorites right now.

A lot of these brands are smaller and more up and coming so I really love that I can share these with you guys!

Let’s get started:

Segara Swimwear One Piece

The Attractive One Piece – Segara Swimwear

I was attracted to Segara when their owner reached out to me via email. Eva is an Orange County native as well and she felt that her suits would really connect well with me. She wasn’t wrong. Her suits are made consciously and locally in Los Angeles and she focuses heavily on a more minimalistic approach to swimwear. Clean lines and fits that will suit a multitude of body types. I fell in love with some of her high waist bottoms and two pieces but this one piece was the winner. The cut is super flattering and gives you a little booty pop which isn’t all bad!

Her Line High Waisted Swim Two Piece

The minimalistic swimsuit – Her Line

I have been a fan of Her Line for quite some time so when they reached out to me I just about lost it haha. Their suits are super minimal and designed so well. This is the kind of swimwear line where less is so much more. They are Australian based with all pieces designed and produced there. I have to say this is one of the best fitted tops I’ve owned when it comes to swim. It’s so nicely fitted, gives me a little shape while also keeping me secure. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had an improper fitted top that I don’t feel super comfortable in! The bottoms give you a nice sense of coverage and make this suit something I can easily wear out to a beach, family event or anything inbetween. I also even shot the top under a linen blazer for a chic day time look.

Amazon Prima Boutique Two Piece Swimsuit

Amazon Prima Boutique Two Piece Swimsuit

The Amazon suit – Prima Boutique

Sometimes I forget that there are some amazing brands on Amazon. Prima Boutique is definitely one of them. I will admit that I get a lot of emails regarding Amazon reviews and collaborations and the pieces tend to look cheap and not designed very well. This suit compared itself to brands like Triangl in saying their suits were high quality and designed to just about the same caliber for a significantly lower price. I have to say that when I got it I was really surprised at what I received. This suit is SO CUTE and fits so well. The quality is fantastic for the price and it’s the perfect piece to tan in! Not too revealing but also really shows off your body nicely.

Australian Swimwear Inyoni

The beat the heat two piece – Inyoni

I can honestly say I don’t know the last time I wore a string bikini bottom. I think when you get older you just become more comfortable being comfortable! Also our bodies aren’t the same as they once were and so we tend to get insecure when it comes to “showing” off certain parts of you. The nice thing about the resort we stayed at was that it felt really like home and I felt so comfortable just letting it all kind of “hang out” if you know what I mean. This suit definitely is more revealing and quite honestly the optimal tanning bikini in my eyes. I’m not one for tons of tan lines. It also just ended up looking SO FLATTERING on me! Sometimes low rise bikini bottoms and tube tops look really weird on me since I don’t have the largest chest area but having the tie in the front really helped balance me out. I also wore an adorable one piece by this brand (not pictured) and it was a lot more covering and was perfect for a night swim we did with our family! It also was cute enough to wear as a bodysuit so I definitely think you’ll be seeing that soon.
