Ankle Flattering Shoes

You know you’ve grown up in style when you finally purchase more than one pair of shoes per season (previously limited to: one pair of sandals for summer, one pair of boots for winter/fall, and a pair of torn to shreds tennis shoes). I have accumulated quite the collection of footwear over the past few months and I must say I now feel closer to Carrie Bradshaw than ever before. Something I’ve found a real passion for is finding shoes that flatter my ankles. (I really do have a strange concept of areas on my body I find flattering). There’s something about slenderizing them that makes them look great in #fwis or #sotd photos. All of my Instagram friends can understand.

Shoes with a nice dip beneath the ankle, pointed toe, and a tighter fit to them look great with minis & cropped skinnies. On the flip side adding a little strappy goodness to your ankles doesn’t kill their vibe either (if your as obsessed with the Isabel Marant sandals above as I am). Happy shopping!
