I’ve recently been attracted to matching denim sets but haven’t found the exact matching pair (it’s a lot harder than it looks). While this isn’t exactly a set, I was able to find two perfectly paired pieces with the same color stitching to create my own! The white denim jacket is from Urban Outfitters as part of their new BDG Denim launch. I decided to add some color into the mix with a vintage inspired Tommy Hilfiger tee (from Urban as well) and my favorite, and I mean FAVORITE clear strappy heeled mules from Zara.

On my recent trip to San Francisco my cousin took me over to Hayes St. to explore a bit (with what short time I had) and one of the stores she insisted on visiting was Azalea – a small boutique with some big brands and character. I instantly fell in love with their boutique so you can imagine my surprise when I was provided the opportunity to collaborate! First thing that caught my eye was this plaid oversized shirt with a deep v-neck cut. It’s one of the perfect pieces to tuck into a pair of skinny jeans, especially since the blouse is more of a tunic, you get a lot of length on the back while letting it billow in the front. Pair it with a cute bralette and you’re just about ready. Clearly I have an thing for oversized blouses but with my affinity for everything neutral I have been dying to add some color into my wardrobe and the stripes on the plaid are exactly what I was looking for.
I got a ton of compliments on this look, the simplicity of having a dressy blouse with some ripped skinnies and converse that makes a real easy look. Also I finally am changing up my sunglass game with these Karen Walkers thanks to Ditto. For a low monthly rate you can update your sunglass game as often as you like! They have a ton of great designer pairs to choose from and if you use code: UNCONSCIOUSSTYLE you can get your first month FREE.
With temperatures rising, days extended, and vacations on the horizon it’s hard for anyone to really stay focused at work. Along with that, most people are grumpy being stuck indoors when it’s always so beautiful outside. But to keep your spirits up, I have found the perfect solution to your summertime work wardrobe problems you might be having, white 70s flare denim. Not only will this apply towards a corporate casual environment, these are the perfect transition piece for a Friday night happy hour after a long day in the office.
I grabbed this pair from Mango during their half season sale. They are structured and high waisted which were 2 of my must haves, not to mention the perfect wide leg flare leg. I threw on my thrifted Ann Taylor cropped sweater tank for a professional summer time look. Of course I can’t leave the house without my Messenger Box Bag from JCOS Studios which keeps with the professional vibe. I’m going to be draping myself in white all summer long considering this past weekend humidity and temperatures have been in the 80s.
