Happy almost 2017! I’ve been reflecting a lot during the Holidays as well as stressing. A New Year always feels good, refreshing, and a great time to get a new start however the end of a year can seem overwhelming, stressful, and seems like time is running out to get everything you need finished. I’ve been blogging since 2012 and it’s been a whirlwind. This year I saw real growth on all fronts of my blog plus, I achieved my major 2016 goals, attending Fashion Week and traveling more. With trips to San Francisco, New York, Florida, and Big Bear, it really was a year to look back on with pride.
Checking in with more Holiday attire featuring this gorgeous emerald green lace up velvet bodysuit. I decided to throw on a pair of high waisted wide leg trousers for a nice balance and a look you can wear to an office party event or to your Holiday family dinner. I really love having a comfortable yet edgy look that really plays into the roots of my style.
Getting accustomed to this cool weather with my latest addition of coats into my wardrobe. I’m a huge fan of camel coats as the perfect everyday go-to jacket for the Winter season however I’d been lacking in one that was oversized yet still held shape.

Houndstooth &/or plaid, you had me at FALL. I’ve been loving the cold weather here in SoCal so I’m excited to add a new arsenal of coats into my wardrobe! A plaid longline coat is a fall must have and I just HAD to venture out over Black Friday weekend to grab this particular lightweight houndstooth longline coat from H&M before they all disappeared.
