Milano Silk Blouse in navy blue – Ravella
There’s always new trends coming into play whether it’s a particular print, style or brand. One thing I’m big on is mixing trends with staple wardrobe pieces, in this instance a silk blouse is something that never seems to go out of style. What I particularly like about this silk piece by Ravella is that it maintains a classic chic style with a super luxurious feel. I definitely feel sexy wearing this piece and I have to admit that after trying on multiple outfits featuring the blouse I actually couldn’t pick which outfit I liked best! The gold button detailing was another reason I really enjoyed this blouse, they add that little bit of ornate detailing that makes this the perfect staple. For this particular look, I paired the silk blouse with my navy blue culotte cords and a plaid coat.
Sweater with Faux Fur Cuffs – Zara | High Waist Checkered Trousers – Zara | Tan Felt Beret – Urban Outfitters | The Boss Boot – Everlane | Oversized Coat – Similar | Numero Uno Bag – Polene Paris |
Quick little outfit today that I am absolutely in love with. I got both of these pieces from Zara during the Black Friday promotion. The checkered high waisted pants are my new favorites so expect to see them in a lot of Instagram / Blog posts! I was hesitant to believe they were actually high waisted based on the website images (you can never fully trust those can you) along with Zaras reputation for mislabeling things as high waisted.
Camel Coat – Valmuer | Japanese Square Oxford Shirt – Everlane | Leather Trouser – Zara (Similar) | Lace Up Pointed Toe Pumps – Aldo (Similar) | Fitzgerald Glasses – Eyebuy Direct
Getting accustomed to this cool weather with my latest addition of coats into my wardrobe. I’m a huge fan of camel coats as the perfect everyday go-to jacket for the Winter season however I’d been lacking in one that was oversized yet still held shape.
Soawien Silver Ankle Boot – Aldo | Kent Blazer – Aritzia | Shiny Scarf – Zara | Black Tee – ASOS | Kick Flare Regular Jeans – H&M
Having a major David Bowie moment with these silver metallic ankle boots from Aldo. When styling metallic pieces I always look to pair them with other neutral colors like taupe, grey, black, and white. Another trend I’m currently loving is the ankle kick flare jean which are perfect with your ankle boots, specifically ones with a little heel to them to add some length to your leg!
Continuing on with trends, I picked up this skinny metallic neck scarf and knew it would work perfectly with this look. Usually I stick to one statement piece such as the shoes for example, but the shimmer from the scarf was the perfect way to tie in the shoes as well as the blazer. With so much other details coming from my accessories I opted for a black tee to keep things simple. This is the perfect look for casual Friday and its extremely easy to put together with pieces you already have. Trade the kick flare jeans for some skinnies and the shimmer in the ankle boots for some patent leather. But really, you should get a pair of shimmery ankle boots because they are a great talking point, not to mention I’ve already had numerous compliments from people on the street.

White Long Sleeve Floral Embroidery Dress – SheInside | Huxley Sunglasses – Electric | Black Heeled Ankle Boots – Zara (Similar)
I’m really into dresses and skirts lately can’t you tell? It’s such a new thing for me, the last dress/skirt phase I went through included ripped tights so I’m starting to class it up a tad. I received this amazing white long sleeve floral embroidered dress from SheInside, the wide sleeves, shift cut, and short hem make it the perfect summer event dress. I recently wore mine to a Mom and Daughter breakfast and received a ton of compliments on it. Here I styled the dress with some black heeled booties to elongate my legs even more (I’ve really been into that lately) but at the breakfast I opted for some low heeled gladiator wrap up sandals to keep it more casual. I’m not much of a “boho” dresser but I do love to mix and match those kind of pieces together and style them in a minimalist way. This dress would be too perfect for any upcoming festivals or summer weddings you might be on the fence about RSVPing for. If more of my friends were getting married, I’d at least have an excuse to buy cute outfits is the way I see it.
Suspender Trousers – Lobby @ The Lab | Captain Lace Up Pumps – TopShop | Cropped 90s Top – ASOS (Similar)
There’s something about a pair of trousers I just can’t get enough of. Sleek and sophisticated simplicity. The tailored fit of these pair make them so incredible, not to mention I really prefer having thin straps compared to some other rather bulky ones adds some girlish figure to a rather boyish style. I grabbed this pair from one of my favorite shops at The Lab in Costa Mesa, CA called Lobby. They have a great selection of amazing pieces that are the perfect mix of monochromatic and simplistically detailed items. I’m a huge supporter of buying simple pieces (in black and white apparently) that can be mixed and matched with your current wardrobe. I have the difficult task of buying clothing that can be worn both to work, and on the weekends so mixing crop tops with tailored trousers provides a great mix.
Always have to be looking at the big picture when you’re shopping on a budget and with a few minor dress code rules. On a side note, I apologize for the lack of detail in my photos, this weekend my parents had to borrow my Camera so I have been strictly working off of my iPhone. Hoping to get back into the game this week!
It’s the end of pay period so that mean’s I’ll be shopping in my closet until my check clears on Friday! Scooped up this little beaut from the depths of my closet. This is by far the best jacket I have ever purchased from Forever21. The quality is great which is probably why it was priced at $50. While some people show distaste at this price (considering everything in this company is priced at $22.50) I am always willing to pay for quality regardless of the store it’s in. I put on my go-to side slit maxi skirt to get myself through this warm day, unfortunately this skirt might not see the light of day come fall/winter, unless I am wearing my knee high socks (cold girl problems) so I have to make the most of it! Happy Monday!

It’s Saturday and it’s 90 degrees. No sign that I was wearing a sweater and jeans the other day. Threw on my daisy romper, denim vest and studded booties because I said so. With such a loud print this minimalistic necklace pulls the entire look together, thanks to Wild Butterfly Boutique for such a pretty necklace. Gotta love dressing casual on Saturdays. On a side note my grandma gave me this Monsac snake skin bag that my grandpa had purchased for her a long time ago. It’s so chic, I was super excited to have it handed down to me! Hope everyone has an awesome weekend.

I feel like Jennifer Aniston in an episode of Friends. My go to when I’m at a loss for an outfit are my basics, boyfriend jeans, tee and boots. I spiced it up a tad with my t-shirt having a high collar which gives me a little bit of a fall flair. These are some staples worth having in your fall wardrobe. I was gifted this rad pair of necklaces from Wild Butterfly Boutique but unfortunately in the rush to take these pictures this morning I wasn’t aware that their close ups came out blurry. No need to fear however, I will be styling them later this week as well!
On a side note I got my Disneyland pass renewed this past weekend and I have already gone three times, it’s an addiction I swear.

It has been super hectic this week due to Phillip Lim for Target coming out but also because I have been prepping for a work conference in Canada that I am attending. Through all the stress and nerves I was really happy to have this monogramed necklace finally arrive in the mail! This was a gift from the fine individuals at MMN (My Monogram Necklace). It paired really nicely with my new tote and my cat eye sunnies. I decided to go with SEA as my initials even though technically my initials are SEH. Reasons for doing this, 1) Nick’s last initial is A and well, I love him. 2) It spells out SEA and who wouldn’t want that? Definitely check out their stuff, I can see these as perfect birthday or holiday gifts. My mom liked the necklace so much she has already ordered her own!
