Double breasted blazers are making a huge comeback, without the shoulder pads that is. I really love the look of double breasted blazers without a shirt underneath, giving off that cool girl Parisian vibe whilst showing a little skin for what is otherwise a pretty masculine piece. I was preparing to head out to my local thrift store to find a navy blazer when I came across this Forever21 style. The big plus with this piece is the double breasted blazer is that its actually a blouse. While it might be difficult to layer with this piece as a regular blazer, I was all for the sleeker cut and flowing sleeves that make this an easy wear over jeans, or long trouser shorts (as seen above).

Transitioning from day to night you can pull out a pair of leather leggings and heeled booties or throw on a pair of shorts underneath to accentuate your legs. Either way, there is the perfect balance of masculinity and femininity coming together that makes this a great dressy piece to have in your closet. Not to mention its lightweight enough for our Orange and LA County weather that never seems to decide what it wants to be.
