Summer is just about over and I can feel Fall creeping in. Especially in retailers. I’m a huge fan of purple/plum tones for fall, and for some odd reason I’m transitioning into color as fall approaches, sorry about it summer. I grabbed this windowpane tunic cross front top from Urban Outfitters and it lays perfect on the body. It also adds some class to any of your high waisted pieces whether they be skirts, trousers or shorts. Now while I mention I’m adding “color” into my wardrobe please note I’m still leaning towards the darker colors but hey its a step in the right direction. I paired the blouse with my latest addition to my skirt collection (slowly growing) this little envelope style wool mini skirt from Aritzia. Let me tell you, during my short visit to San Francisco I was shocked, nay, amazed to find an actual brick and mortar Aritzia store so of course I had to buy a few things…

You might say this outfit looks a little uniform like but what better way to welcome everyone back to the school months of fall than with ankle socks and loafers?
