Summer is slowly approaching in Orange County and my fashion instincts are turning to pops of color as a way to spice up my wardrobe. I’m a huge fan of wrap tops and dresses so when I saw this red minimal floral printed blouse from PYLO I knew I had to grab it. Cropped fit and flowing material makes for the perfect pairing with a side slit maxi skirt, high waisted shorts or as pictured here, thrifted high waist “mom” jeans. I threw on a cute bralette underneath but a lace cami or tube top would also make great layering pieces for more modest wear. I’m definitely getting more comfortable with plunging necklines as well, mainly because of my new statement necklaces like the two I am wearing. I highly recommend grabbing a choker body chain, these babies run a straight line down with a smaller opening up top (around your neck) and a larger opening on the bottom (for the hips), I think it accentuates any v-neck or plunging neckline tops or dresses. It also helps you feel like you have a little more coverage (as silly as it sounds).
