As odd as they are so called, I’m in love with the silhouette of paper bag trousers. Something about a high waist, tapered leg and all the loose fit in-between parts work for my body type. I also (as noted in my previous post) am getting back into the swing of cropped tops (thanks 90s Jennifer Aniston & Netflix!). This crop is from CSBLA and again, it doesn’t disappoint. The neckline is a big deal for me, it has a slight boatneck fit which I think hits all the right spots on your collarbone. Not to mention the fabric feels oh so nice on (none of that thin stuff your used to). I wasn’t sure how the outfit would look together but the tightness on top with the somewhat loose fit on bottom mixed with a little heel makes for the perfect day to night look.

Earlier that day my cousin and I ventured out to LA for lunch or “brunch” before heading to see the last showing of Wicked at Pantages Theatre. While it was melting outside I swapped my heels for sandals earlier in the day and dressed it up for the show later on. I tell you these pants are worth it and not to mention they are a lot lighter than they appear, hence for me wearing them on one of our warmest days of Marcy. (Originally I figured a wool blend type trouser). Shop my look above and happy weekend folks!
