All Frills Cozy Ruffled Sweater – Akira | Cropped Knit Dungarees – Zara | Casse Studded Wooden Heel Boot – Jessica Buurman | Mini Bucket Bag – Hieleven | Gucci Logo Belt – Gucci
Went for a full blown knit look this past weekend with this cool weather front that came into Southern California. I was out in Pasadena this past weekend working a convention for my day job. If you aren’t familiar with it, IMATS is a makeup trade show and let me tell you that it’s INSANE. Insanely busy, yet fun and rewarding.
There’s nothing I enjoy more than a good set of dungarees. The best part about owning a good pair of overalls is their versatility. They really are like a pair of good jeans that you keep in your closet for any and all occasions.
Getting accustomed to this cool weather with my latest addition of coats into my wardrobe. I’m a huge fan of camel coats as the perfect everyday go-to jacket for the Winter season however I’d been lacking in one that was oversized yet still held shape.
Texture Fabric Top – Zara | Houndstooth Patterned Longline Coat – H&M | Two Tone Raw Hem Denim – H&M | Studded Wooden Heel Ankle Boot – Jessica Buurman | Stella Crossbody – Naked Vice
Houndstooth &/or plaid, you had me at FALL. I’ve been loving the cold weather here in SoCal so I’m excited to add a new arsenal of coats into my wardrobe! A plaid longline coat is a fall must have and I just HAD to venture out over Black Friday weekend to grab this particular lightweight houndstooth longline coat from H&M before they all disappeared.
Feeling like I’m back to my roots with this street style inspired look. I of course am layering again, so this sheer black blouse has been in heavy rotation. I decided to go early 2000s style with a long sleeve tee layered under a fun graphic tee from Zara. While I was a big advocate for graphic tees making their way out, I’m becoming another fan of them making their way back in (things always come back faster than you think).
Striped Poplin Off Shoulder Blouse – Zara | Blouse with Trumpet Sleeve – H&M | Farleigh High Waist Slim Mom Jeans – ASOS | The Arch Flat – Oyster Footwear | The Stella – Naked Vice
The art of layering is a fine one, and one that I’m constantly expanding on. I can’t get enough of this mock neck trumpet sleeve blouse from H&M that I previously wore in this post where I layered a slinky bralette on top. In this instance I’ve switched it up a bit and placed the blouse underneath the poplin shirt! I love how well these two pieces fit together and let me know this is something NOT planned.
Now that it’s November I’m so getting really excited for the coming Holidays! While the Holidays always mean busy workweeks and even busier weekends, I definitely love the feeling of begin able to plan for fun events with my family. I threw together this look the other morning and felt it was the perfect kind of look to wear to your next Holiday event!
Getting back to Fall with a plaid skirt and red turtle neck combo, straight out of Cher’s closet.
While plaid skirts normally take me to private schools on the East coast, I have to say I really like the combination with a fitted turtle neck. While it’s been blazing hot in So Cal I had to throw on this gorgeous new trench coat via W Concept, I absolutely love the subtle detailing it has that really makes it a unique a special piece.
Zipped Top with High Neck – Zara | Trousers with Side Band – Zara | Laura Angled Heel Ankle Boot – EGO | Text Crossbody Bag – Zara | Round Sunglasses – Ray-Ban
My theme for Fashion Week this year was pops of red as you can tell. Most of this outfit is courtesy of Zara, and by most I mean everything but the shoes. I am loving the color red as of late and especially this more sporty look. Truly bringing back the 90s with this zip top with high neck that brings a sporty edge to this look.
Mid Heel Shoe w/ Contrasting Toe Cap – Zara | Vintage Mom Jeans – Guess | Sleeveless Poplin Blouse – Zara | Spencer Wide Brim Hat – Lack of Color
Super quick post from an outfit I wore the other day. Kept things simple with two of my best basics, this Zara poplin sleeveless blouse, my Guess “mom” jeans and my new show stoppers, these Zara cap toe mid heels.
