Feeling mellow yellow today in the perfect Summer look by Amuse Society. One of my favorite looks for Spring/Summer is a graphic tee and maxi skirt. I had a thrifted one similar to this that I was in love with a few years back so having this yellow updated version is perfect. I’m excited to pair this skirt with fitted crop tops as well for the upcoming warm months.
There’s nothing greater than a fresh pedicure, and a day when your hair and outfit are on point. That’s a triple threat right there. In today’s case I decided to play around with a new summer favorite, the sleeveless jumpsuit.
If you’d thought my blush craze had ran its course, you were very very wrong. Keeping Summer styling strong with this off shoulder knotted sleeve blush top from NA-KD. Rather than pairing it with trousers I opted for a pair of satin shorts

Two pieces are now holding an incredibly close place to my heart. Aside from the fact that this Gingham two-piece set is adorable together, these two can also easily be worn as separates. Again, more bang for your buck.
I am loving this summer weather and my hair that is getting blonder by the minute! I received this amazing off shoulder blouse from Posh Square and I’m seriously obsessed. It’s lightweight, soft, and has some tie detailing on the sleeves that really pulls everything together.
You know those days when your in between a jacket or a sweater? The sweater is a little too casual and your jacket is a little too thick? Well compromise is here, this olive green lightweight collared jacket is here to save the day. Built like a shirt, the cotton material is lightweight yet thick enough for transitioning from day to evening. Also the sleeves easily roll up just in case the day surpasses 80 degrees. I was a little skeptical about the olive green color but I really wanted something different that would stand out instead of the typical army green color. I am a true believer that leopard and green are neutrals, they just haven’t been officially welcomed into the neutral family! The length of the jacket is also a perfect piece for high waisted or regular waist pants, skirts, or trousers.
I threw on my favorite summer lace tube top from PYLO and a pair of my high waisted skinnies for running around town for some quick errands. Hopefully you guys were also lucky enough to get the 3rd off!
Nothing I love more than a trend that lasts longer than a year, I’ve had these white culottes from Zara for a little over a year and they still don’t disappoint. I also scored some major items at the thrift store on a recent trip, three items for $12 is what I call a real steal. This Ann Taylor cashmere sweater tank for only $3 is the true MVP of the night. I am really excited to get back into the thrifting game, I forgot how exciting it is to score some good items. Wide leg bottoms are a new thing for me now so bear with me while I excitedly move through this phase. The best part about culottes are the ability to throw on a cute fitted top and walk out the door for your next meeting, lunch, night out or just errands for the day. Pairing with heels or flats as well. I opted for my new favorite suede slides by Dolce Vita. They are the perfect little sandal to throw on with any outfit, plus they make my feet look slim. If you haven’t noticed already I’m also obsessed with this wide brim hat from Lack of Color which gives me everything, who would have known that a straw hat could work with so many different looks? Shop it above from Need Supply for only $59!
Quick post on this Monday. Was a busy bee this weekend with wedding activities and Free Comic Book day. Was able to grab a quick post with this amazingly soft and slinky tank from Joah Brown. Living in So-Cal I’m always on the hunt for comfy tanks that feel like nothing for those really hot days. The cut on this top is perfect, the sides are cut high and overlap and the racerback gives your shoulders some love. Definitely give these guys a look for high quality and expertly cut basics for your summer wardrobe.
I really enjoy a good bottom now and again and these culottes are no exception. I might hem them a little higher so they will be easier to wear with flats but for now I think the heels and crop top offset the wide leg bottom quite nicely. These will be the perfect summer pant for a nice evening out for dinner or drinks don’t you think? Also don’t forget to check out the Zara sale because it’s ridiculously good right now.
I have been waiting for this outfit since the day I purchased this cropped top almost a year ago. You never realize how hard it is to find the perfect fit of overalls when you are scrounging through the Goodwill racks but it is difficult. Usually the legs are just too big for me. I just got back from Comic Con and was hoping to wear this outfit on my last day (Saturday) but the weather made a drastic shift from sunny and hot to overcast and breezy. Since it didn’t work out in SD I wore it running errands in Anaheim. I love all of the fun combinations I have been doing with these overalls. You can pair them with just about anything and you have a completely different look.
On a side note, I am used to being photographed when I cosplay at Comic Con but ironically I was asked to be photographed on Saturday. Before you say to yourself “well yeah, you were dressed up” note that I wasn’t dressed in costume. The girl actually has a street style blog for San Diego and wanted to include me in her blog. Pretty insane, I tell you, fashion never sleeps.
