White Polka Dot Blouse – H&M | Vintage Denim – Guess Jeans (Similar) | Logo Belt – Gucci | Leather Biker Jacket – Mango | Sock Leather Ankle Boot – Zara |
Feeling romantic with this new blouse I picked up from H&M. I’m sharing some of my favorite blouses for Spring above that include a ton of loose romantic pieces like the one I’m wearing. Anything that’s lightweight, flowy, and/or printed is exactly what’s on my list for Spring and Summer months. These can easily be paired with shorts, skirts or denim jeans and a fun pair of heeled sandals.
Green Velvet Dress – Zara | Polite Shirt – Akira | Laura Angled Heel Ankle Boot in Maroon – EGO | Mini Saddle Bag – Ela | Star Choker Necklace – Zara
A little green velvet for my first day of New York Fashion Week 2016! This being my first trip I was so excited to just be within the city and all it has to offer during this time. I was able to mix work (day job) and play (blogging) and get a little exploring in as well.
Lively Frilling Top – ChicWish | Two Tone Denim Jeans – H&M (Similar) | Samia Sandals – Charlotte Stone | Crystal Nicki Sunglasses – Triwa | NO Crossbody Bag – Zara
Pairing a statement blouse and some statement jeans made easy. I absolutely love these two toned denim jeans with raw uneven hems. I have been searching for a pair like this and when I finally found them at H&M I was so distraught when they were sold out both online and in stores!
C!ao Graphic Tee – Madewell | Trousers with Side Band – Zara | Slide Loafers – Forever21 (Similar) | Star Choker Necklace – Zara | 50mm Metal Round Sunglasses – Ray Ban
Ciao! My favorite graphic tee to date, this spunky little number has been an easy throw on piece the past few weeks. Whether with shorts, culottes, or a classic pair of denim I’ve definitely been getting some use from this C!ao graphic tee from Madewell.
Raised Neck Cotton Top – COS | Mid-Rise Jeans – Zara | Lace Up Ballerina Flat – 2020Ave | Ray-Ban Round Sunglasses – Ray-Ban
I’d like to introduce you to my latest retail obsession, COS. If you haven’t already checked them out I highly recommend doing so. They add the utmost class with sleek and stylish cuts and minimalist styles. Their designs are impeccable and although the price is a little high, it’s completely worth purchasing your major must have staple pieces such as jackets, coats, sweaters, and button ups. I picked up this think mock neck long sleeve shirt at the latest COS store opening at South Coast Plaza in Orange County. Needless to say I’m so excited that this place not only has amazing clothing but an amazing retail space as well. This top is super lightweight and perfect to throw under a nice heavy coat this coming fall.
I also finally invested in a pair of gray distressed skinny jeans which of course, feature a raw hem. Theres nothing I love more than an impulse buy that actually works out well for me! This post is full of newbies which also include my adorable new lace up pointed toe flats. I grabbed this pair for a steal on 2020ave. There always has to be a good balance between designer and discount in my eyes when picking out shoes. It’s great to have your staple pairs but for the trendier pieces its always nice to know you can grab a cute looking pair at a great price.
Linen-blend pants – H&M | Rimini Crop Top – CSBLA | Levis Jacket – Thrifted | Heeled Booties – Zara (Similar) | Huxley Sunglasses – Electric Eyewear
My obsession with paper bag trousers continues with this linen khaki pair from H&M. These are so lightweight and the perfect addition to my spring wardrobe. Not to mention the color really adds something extra (getting a little tired of black, blue, white and grey only). Of course I had to pair it with my favorite CSBLA crop top to keep it simple and some heeled booties for extra leg length. I really do need more heeled sandals and boots. Definitely will be next on my list of purchases!
I’m excited to be able to wear these trousers to work with a blouse tucked in or out and about on the weekends with some fitted crop tops. These are part of H&M’s latest collection so be sure to pick up a pair before they sell out. I also picked up these amazing new sunglasses from Electric and they are the most lightweight and comfortable sunglasses I’ve had to date. Not to mention the style is something I haven’t come across yet, a mix between aviators and round sunnies. Perfect retro vibes all around.
Metallic Midi Skirt – Zara (on sale) | Heeled Black Booties – Zara (Similar) | Leather Biker Jacket – Mango | Commuter Tote – Kelsi Dagger | Black Sweater – H&M |
Midi Skirts are what I like to consider a timeless staple piece that provide femininity and elegance. Styling the midi skirt can be somewhat of a challenge, especially for shorter or taller girls who either get too little or too much leg showing. Not to mention for those of us at average height (myself included) there is the challenge of how to make your legs look elongated and not cut off. I styled this metallic midi skirt from Zara with an oversized black sweater, black heeled booties and my leather jacket. The metallic accents of the skirt are incredible and are accentuated when you begin to move (perfect for any upcoming weddings or parties where you’ll be dancing your face off). When I think metallic, I also think leather, so I couldn’t leave the house on this rainy day without my trusty Mango leather jacket.
Being a Southern California and most importantly an Orange County blogger your wardrobe typically focuses on an everlasting summer but on the rare occasion you come across days like this where there is a lightweight drizzle throughout the day bringing to light some amazing colors within the asphalt and some added freshness into the air. It’s not often you can wear a lightweight midi skirt in the midst of winter!
