Adding in a little bit of a statement skirt into my latest look with this patchwork suede mini from BB Dakota. I know patchwork skirts aren’t anything new, but when they are done so right like it is here, I couldn’t help but feel drawn to styling it. I have recently been binging Friends with my husband before bed and we also visited the Warner Bros studio tour where we got to actually sit on the set!
Hey guys! I’ve been in love with statement ruffle blouses as of lately so I was excited to find this gem at H&M the other day! Luckily as I mentioned before, my sister works there so we did a little trade for makeup and this blouse was all mine! I love the subtle pattern and cut that makes this piece so unique yet able to be paired with a ton of different bottoms.

The perfect Valentines look in partnership with Lulus! I absolutely love this blush pink dress by Keepsake, it’s so romantic and fits me like a glove! It’s hard for me to feel good in certain dresses but this one really fits my body shape and makes me feel comfortable.
Cheap Monday Black Denim Overalls – Lulus | Chaser Weekend Love Backless Sweater – Lulus | Chinese Laundry Owen Natural Leather Mules – Lulus |
So excited to be partnering with Lulus with this super fun casual look! Thanks so much for providing these pieces! I have been wanting a great pair of skinny black overalls and when I saw these ones I knew I had to have them. They are so comfortable and really flattering on. I know I can keep these in rotation by pairing them with more statement blouses.
Double Breasted Striped Blazer – H&M | Striped Pant – H&M | Bad Habits Tee – TopShop | Lace Up Mid Pointed Toe Ankle Boot – ASOS
Suiting up today in this matching suit set from H&M! My awesome sister got this for me this year for Christmas and I’ve been itching to wear it since! I also recently updated my hair with a little bang action. It definitely had me feeling refreshed and new for the year! It also prompted me to wear this outfit immediately afterwards.
Happy almost 2017! I’ve been reflecting a lot during the Holidays as well as stressing. A New Year always feels good, refreshing, and a great time to get a new start however the end of a year can seem overwhelming, stressful, and seems like time is running out to get everything you need finished. I’ve been blogging since 2012 and it’s been a whirlwind. This year I saw real growth on all fronts of my blog plus, I achieved my major 2016 goals, attending Fashion Week and traveling more. With trips to San Francisco, New York, Florida, and Big Bear, it really was a year to look back on with pride.
Getting in the Holiday spirit with pops of red silk thanks to Grana. My favorite go-to for basics, their silk collection has got me on one. I’ve already featured one of their silk slip dresses and fell in love. I’ve been absolutely drawn to red lately with accessories and clothing pieces so when this deep red camisole came into my life I knew I had to style it for the Holidays!
Seeing stars with this Holiday inspired look! Also feeling slightly like Coraline for those who know, you know. I absolutely have fallen in love with Pure Cashmere, an incredible brand found on Blancsom that has incredibly soft lightweight cashmere sweaters and coats that are so easy to wear with everything in my wardrobe.
I am having a love affair with belting blazers and I’m so happy I found this piece from Pendleton when I was off on a thrifting adventure a few weeks back. I usually hesitate with these kind of pieces but I knew deep down I would get A LOT of use out of it. I love seeing houndstooth and plaid prints coming back into Fall Fashion and with the comeback of Women’s power suits I definitely think there are cool ways of creating menswear inspired looks with a feminine touch.
Striped Poplin Off Shoulder Blouse – Zara | Blouse with Trumpet Sleeve – H&M | Farleigh High Waist Slim Mom Jeans – ASOS | The Arch Flat – Oyster Footwear | The Stella – Naked Vice
The art of layering is a fine one, and one that I’m constantly expanding on. I can’t get enough of this mock neck trumpet sleeve blouse from H&M that I previously wore in this post where I layered a slinky bralette on top. In this instance I’ve switched it up a bit and placed the blouse underneath the poplin shirt! I love how well these two pieces fit together and let me know this is something NOT planned.
