Our Second Nature is a recent clothing brand that I was introduced to and I have to say I’m not looking back anytime soon. I’m really loving their sleek styles, artistic prints and essential basics. I styled two more of their pieces (see my other look here)
I’ve recently been attracted to matching denim sets but haven’t found the exact matching pair (it’s a lot harder than it looks). While this isn’t exactly a set, I was able to find two perfectly paired pieces with the same color stitching to create my own! The white denim jacket is from Urban Outfitters as part of their new BDG Denim launch. I decided to add some color into the mix with a vintage inspired Tommy Hilfiger tee (from Urban as well) and my favorite, and I mean FAVORITE clear strappy heeled mules from Zara.
As you guys know, I have an amazing relationship with Grana and really value their pieces. They have the perfect minimalistic style and high quality fabrics. My most recent piece from them is this silk jumpsuit. Now usually I have some trouble with jumpsuits, sometimes they aren’t super flattering on me just because they are either too long or they don’t hit my waist in the right spot.
Sometimes you get a gorgeous sheer maxi dress and don’t know what to wear under it! In those instances you need to get a little bit creative, in this case, I decided to wear the dress like a blouse with a pair of high waisted trousers. With a little tuck of the dress you create your own slender waistline along with some sexy lace up sandals.
What a time to be alive. The days of only shopping at Target for holiday graphic tees are long gone. If I was ever in a pickle to find something cute to wear, I could whole heartedly count on Target to come in clutch. The Who What Wear Collection at Target is something of a dream and new styles are heading in stores each month so you can count on your monthly, weekly, or daily Target trips to be upped in spending (but just by a little).
Lately I’ve been on a mission to live a more minimalistic lifestyle. When it comes to home decor, home goods, and clothing, I really need to have my home free and clear of clutter to help with my mental health as well as just keeping a cleanly home. I tend to get really overwhelmed when I don’t have a place for everything and that’s when I usually realize things have got to go. With being a fashion blogger there are times you get large influxes of pieces that are cute and fun to style but at the end of the day things get phased out a lot faster than they used to. I’m always looking for the next best piece and I tend to overlook older pieces. That being said, I’ve rounded up the best minimalistic online clothing stores I’ve been loving lately that provide the perfect minimalistic pieces that are staples to your wardrobe. With these kind of pieces you aren’t looking at “on trend” pieces that will go out of style, these are curated sites that focus on amazing quality and structure with pieces that can be worn a multitude of ways. Yes, outfit repeating is back. I’m working towards purchasing products that are on trend but able to have longevity in my closet.
Here to Stay White Dress – Lulus | Salome Black Leather Lace Up Heels – Lulus |
There are a ton of occasions that occur during this time of the year, from graduations to summer backyard BBQs, to beach days so that means you’ll be in need of the perfect summer dress. This white eyelet dress from Lulus is not only super feminine but the perfect casual dress for each one of these occasions.
I love how styles and trends are always changing and the fact that I’ve never stuck to any one in particular. I recently had a conversation with a close friend about how my ‘aesthetic’ is forever changing and I’d like to think that’s a good thing. I get inspired by new pieces, new styles, and new trends on the daily. One minute I’m looking to Parisian femme looks and another 90s grunge. I’ve been drawn to unique pieces and designers like Vetements that are taking what we would consider staples in our wardrobes (t-shirts, hoodies, track pants) and transforming them into pieces of art in the form of clothing.
Ok guys so I”m trying to expand my wardrobe into an amazing array of colorful accessories and printed pieces and this look definitely succeeded in that. I recently visited &Other Stories which has an incredible Spring selection of basics and on trend unique pieces for the season. There’s something about putting on such a stand out piece like this tropical printed shirt dress that has you holding your head high as you go about your day. I received a ton of compliments on it and I definitely feel it put a smile on some people’s faces. I styled this shirt dress a little differently as you can tell and I think it fits in nicely with the entire look I was going for.
White Polka Dot Blouse – H&M | Vintage Denim – Guess Jeans (Similar) | Logo Belt – Gucci | Leather Biker Jacket – Mango | Sock Leather Ankle Boot – Zara |
Feeling romantic with this new blouse I picked up from H&M. I’m sharing some of my favorite blouses for Spring above that include a ton of loose romantic pieces like the one I’m wearing. Anything that’s lightweight, flowy, and/or printed is exactly what’s on my list for Spring and Summer months. These can easily be paired with shorts, skirts or denim jeans and a fun pair of heeled sandals.
