Fall Fashion is in full swing and I’m sure that’s all you guys are reading about! The time change this past Sunday definitely has us all feeling the blues of seeing those Summer days fading away. Now all I want to do is cuddle up on the couch when I get home and watch Harry Potter. But alas, with the time change we also have cooler weather coming through and I was SO EXCITED to wear this primary color look for Fall. You might have seen H&M pop up with some amazingly bright bold colors for Fall including hues of blue, red, yellow, purple and greens.
Getting in the Holiday spirit with pops of red silk thanks to Grana. My favorite go-to for basics, their silk collection has got me on one. I’ve already featured one of their silk slip dresses and fell in love. I’ve been absolutely drawn to red lately with accessories and clothing pieces so when this deep red camisole came into my life I knew I had to style it for the Holidays!
Getting accustomed to this cool weather with my latest addition of coats into my wardrobe. I’m a huge fan of camel coats as the perfect everyday go-to jacket for the Winter season however I’d been lacking in one that was oversized yet still held shape.
Texture Fabric Top – Zara | Houndstooth Patterned Longline Coat – H&M | Two Tone Raw Hem Denim – H&M | Studded Wooden Heel Ankle Boot – Jessica Buurman | Stella Crossbody – Naked Vice
Houndstooth &/or plaid, you had me at FALL. I’ve been loving the cold weather here in SoCal so I’m excited to add a new arsenal of coats into my wardrobe! A plaid longline coat is a fall must have and I just HAD to venture out over Black Friday weekend to grab this particular lightweight houndstooth longline coat from H&M before they all disappeared.
Billie Dress – Flair the Label | Fluffy Trim Block Heel – ASOS | Brown Double Flap Bag – Zara | Oversized Cardigan – Zara |
Tis the season for florals! As if it’s never not a good thing, switching out a lighter floral however for this deep red dress by Flair the Label that hugs me in all the right ways. I absolutely find this dress the perfect piece for your fall wardrobe. Wear it to Holiday parties, Thanksgiving, work, happy hour, weekend errands, farmers market, literally anywhere and you will be looking so so so cute.
Camel Knit Sweater – H&M | Camel Cocoon Coat – Zara (Similar) | Captain Lace Up Sneaker – TopShop | Volant Sunglasses – RAEN Optics | Black Clutch/Crossbody – H&M
Camel is officially my new favorite color. There’s just something about it that gets me feeling like it’s finally Fall. It does tend to blend in a little bit with my skin as my fiance has so often reminded me but nonetheless I still think it’s an extremely classic neutral that is a must have for any wardrobe. I mixed some textures and silhouettes with this look with my structured Zara cocoon coat and flowing white culottes. To make the look a little more city chic casual I threw on my TopShop sneakers. I swear I dress more for the east coast than west.
I’ve had a difficult time finding a cute clutch/crossbody combination bag that I can take out to dinner or shopping that isn’t going to weigh me down (considering all of my handbags could second as a small suitcase.) After juggling making the commitment to someone like Rebecca Minkoff, Zara, or Other Stories -OR- finding a cheap alternative I came across this handbag at H&M on sale for $10 and decided well, even if it doesn’t work out I at least didn’t spend too much. Needless to say it has worked out and I won’t feel as guilty having spent money on myself versus Christmas presents for the fam.
Nothing like a clean (white) slate to make you feel confident in the morning. This wrap coat has been making my outfits as of late. I’m a huge fan of oversized anything and this shirt is no exception. Not only can it second as a dress it’s shape isn’t unflattering when paired with some skinny jeans as many oversized shirts can be. On another note, these platform oxfords are also becoming a staple within my wardrobe. A few things necessary for Fall in my eyes are 1) wrap coat 2) turtleneck sweater 3) platform oxfords 4) panama hats. Forever21 has been stocking some amazing coats and sweaters for fall not to mention there is a 30% off sale going on right now! No better time to stock up for winter
Quick little OOTD for you guys. One can never have too many button up shirts. I am in love with the oversized look of this one, I’ve already worn it as a dress with one of my black lace slips underneath but I decided to pair it with some skinny ankle grazer jeans this time around. I love how sophisticated and clean it looks, probably the 2 words I’d like to describe my style with. You can’t go wrong with oversized clothing for Fall!
Stripe Oversize Shirt in Longline – Choies | White Crop Denim – Hudson Jeans | Toe Strap Sandal – Zara
Dressing like I’m from New York or something. “Sweater Weather” lasted about 2 hour this morning and I enjoyed every second of it. I tend to get thrown off by the overcast mornings that turn into 80 degree afternoons. Needless to say having a long turtleneck sweater isn’t always the best choice BUT I’m contemplating pairing it with my lace slip dress for some of the warmer days. I’m really pushing for Fall to come can’t you tell?
I apologize for the lack of posts. Being sick plus the gloomy weather makes for lazy outfit days and low motivation to take pictures. I have been inspired by all the new fall lookbooks that have been popping up. Trousers and menswear are high on the list of must-haves. I dug around my closet to come up with an interpretation. These Forever21 trousers are not only a great color but has an incredibly comfortable low rise fit. The v-neck is PINK by Victorias Secret, not my first place to look for a soft tee but you come across some fun surprises when you have a gift card to spend! I threw on my oversized camouflage jacket to add a fun print and considering it is made for men, it added that touch of menswear I was looking for. Mixing these neutrals was a lot of fun and although it took me away from my usual “all black everything” I still enjoyed putting it all together. Happy Wednesday!
