Who else is guilty of last minute Holiday shopping? I definitely am. With so many other things going on in life, it can be difficult to grab everything you need. When in doubt however, there’s always Amazon Prime! While Amazon can be a black hole of literally any and EVERYTHING, I’ve curated a few favorites for those picky shoppers you might experience. A mix of high and low end pieces that are a great generic gift for your loved ones!
I had a very peaceful weekend up in Big Bear with my husband with amazing accommodations by the Noon Lodge at Mallard Bay. I was immediately drawn to this lodge after countless hours of searching travel sites I found this quaint and cute little lodge.
There’s nothing I enjoy more than a good set of dungarees. The best part about owning a good pair of overalls is their versatility. They really are like a pair of good jeans that you keep in your closet for any and all occasions.
Staying cozy this past weekend in Big Bear with a few favs from Urban Outfitters. I decided to take a mini getaway with my husband and into some cooler weather. This was actually my first trip up to the mountains and I have to say it was incredible. Cool mountain air and relaxation was exactly what I needed.
Getting accustomed to this cool weather with my latest addition of coats into my wardrobe. I’m a huge fan of camel coats as the perfect everyday go-to jacket for the Winter season however I’d been lacking in one that was oversized yet still held shape.
Texture Fabric Top – Zara | Houndstooth Patterned Longline Coat – H&M | Two Tone Raw Hem Denim – H&M | Studded Wooden Heel Ankle Boot – Jessica Buurman | Stella Crossbody – Naked Vice
Houndstooth &/or plaid, you had me at FALL. I’ve been loving the cold weather here in SoCal so I’m excited to add a new arsenal of coats into my wardrobe! A plaid longline coat is a fall must have and I just HAD to venture out over Black Friday weekend to grab this particular lightweight houndstooth longline coat from H&M before they all disappeared.
I am having a love affair with belting blazers and I’m so happy I found this piece from Pendleton when I was off on a thrifting adventure a few weeks back. I usually hesitate with these kind of pieces but I knew deep down I would get A LOT of use out of it. I love seeing houndstooth and plaid prints coming back into Fall Fashion and with the comeback of Women’s power suits I definitely think there are cool ways of creating menswear inspired looks with a feminine touch.
If you guys know me, you know I’m a big fan of watches. Always have been and always will be! Prior to the entire world having a cell phone attached to them, I counted on watches for me to always know how much longer I had in my Spanish class before we had lunch around the corner.
Feeling like I’m back to my roots with this street style inspired look. I of course am layering again, so this sheer black blouse has been in heavy rotation. I decided to go early 2000s style with a long sleeve tee layered under a fun graphic tee from Zara. While I was a big advocate for graphic tees making their way out, I’m becoming another fan of them making their way back in (things always come back faster than you think).
Striped Poplin Off Shoulder Blouse – Zara | Blouse with Trumpet Sleeve – H&M | Farleigh High Waist Slim Mom Jeans – ASOS | The Arch Flat – Oyster Footwear | The Stella – Naked Vice
The art of layering is a fine one, and one that I’m constantly expanding on. I can’t get enough of this mock neck trumpet sleeve blouse from H&M that I previously wore in this post where I layered a slinky bralette on top. In this instance I’ve switched it up a bit and placed the blouse underneath the poplin shirt! I love how well these two pieces fit together and let me know this is something NOT planned.
