Taxi Trouser in Mustard – Article& | Short Sleeve Hemp Tee – Jung Maven | Salome Black Leather Lace Up Heels – Lulus | Shirt Jacket – NA-KD | Green Basket Bucket Bag – Cafune |
When you are home sick in bed for three days you start realizing how much you HATE sitting around for three days not accomplishing anything! Luckily I’m finally starting to feel better and I’ve picked back up where I’ve left off. I had an amazing day out in LA with one of my good friends the other day and it was everything I had been needing. We started off with brunch at Bardonna (amazing by the way) and finished the morning off with a bit of shopping.
Paloma Wool Guiri Sweatshirt – Garmentory | Extraordinaire Tartan Flap Bud Skirt – ChicWish | Lace Up Patent Heeled Boot – ASOS | Addicted Bracelet Bag – Parisa Wang | Reverie Cat Eye Glasses – Bonlook
I’m so excited to have such a good arsenal of statement skirts in my wardrobe. This piece from Chicwish is fantastic, from it’s funky structure to it’s bold print, it’s perfect for pairing with more simplistic tops. I went a little overboard on spending in Portland (hey no sales tax!) so I grabbed this embroidered cropped sweater by Paloma Wool from a little boutique called Seven Sisters because why shouldn’t I?
I’m loving the whole “workout trouser” pant trend thats been going around. Whether it’s an Adidas track suit or Champion sweats paired with a strapless blouse it’s the perfect mix of casual and sexy all in one. I’m loving these silk pants from Grana that I pieced together with one of their silk kimonos for a really edgy casual look.
Amuse Society Shiva Yellow Floral Print Maxi Skirt – Lulus | Amuse Society Sandy Cheek Tee – Lulus | LFL Simple Bright Multi Color Lace Up Heels – Lulus | Marfa Bag – Bembien
Feeling mellow yellow today in the perfect Summer look by Amuse Society. One of my favorite looks for Spring/Summer is a graphic tee and maxi skirt. I had a thrifted one similar to this that I was in love with a few years back so having this yellow updated version is perfect. I’m excited to pair this skirt with fitted crop tops as well for the upcoming warm months.
I recently went up to visit my brother and sister in-law up in Astoria Oregon and it was an experience I won’t be forgetting anytime soon. You have a lot of expectations when you travel to places you’ve heard so much about. Being an avid foodie, coffee drinker, and shopper I was super excited for this trip not only to see my family and some of the Oregon coast but to also visit Portland (post to come).
I love how styles and trends are always changing and the fact that I’ve never stuck to any one in particular. I recently had a conversation with a close friend about how my ‘aesthetic’ is forever changing and I’d like to think that’s a good thing. I get inspired by new pieces, new styles, and new trends on the daily. One minute I’m looking to Parisian femme looks and another 90s grunge. I’ve been drawn to unique pieces and designers like Vetements that are taking what we would consider staples in our wardrobes (t-shirts, hoodies, track pants) and transforming them into pieces of art in the form of clothing.
Ok guys so I”m trying to expand my wardrobe into an amazing array of colorful accessories and printed pieces and this look definitely succeeded in that. I recently visited &Other Stories which has an incredible Spring selection of basics and on trend unique pieces for the season. There’s something about putting on such a stand out piece like this tropical printed shirt dress that has you holding your head high as you go about your day. I received a ton of compliments on it and I definitely feel it put a smile on some people’s faces. I styled this shirt dress a little differently as you can tell and I think it fits in nicely with the entire look I was going for.
White Polka Dot Blouse – H&M | Vintage Denim – Guess Jeans (Similar) | Logo Belt – Gucci | Leather Biker Jacket – Mango | Sock Leather Ankle Boot – Zara |
Feeling romantic with this new blouse I picked up from H&M. I’m sharing some of my favorite blouses for Spring above that include a ton of loose romantic pieces like the one I’m wearing. Anything that’s lightweight, flowy, and/or printed is exactly what’s on my list for Spring and Summer months. These can easily be paired with shorts, skirts or denim jeans and a fun pair of heeled sandals.
So there’s a few things I’m really loving for Spring. One of them is clearly gingham but the other is trench coats! I received this one awhile back but it’s been the perfect type of weather lately to bring it back to life! What I love the most about a trench coat is how the structured accents look so flattering next to everyday outfits. Whether you pair this trench with a t-shirt, blouse or dress, it adds a little edge and city vibes to any look.
A little tomboy, a little feminine, a whole lot of comfortable. I was recently introduced to The Vetiver Collection and it’s definitely a pure California easy breezy look and feel. Their designs mix masculine features with bold prints and structured designs (like this shirt dress) but also mixes in femininity with ruffles and flouncy fabrics.
