I had the pleasure of being introduced to a new eco friendly clothing brand called Siizu. I love when a brand has a clear vision along with something they stand behind so working alongside Siizu to style these pieces was something I really enjoyed doing. Siizu’s philosophy is simple, they design high quality apparel made with sustainable manufacturing practices directly to the consumer at an affordable price point. Fabrics are 100% organic and eco-friendly throughout their entire line of clothing. Designers are conscious of waste and create designs and patterns to utilize an entire fabrics potential creating minimal waste.

Fall Fashion is in full swing and I’m sure that’s all you guys are reading about! The time change this past Sunday definitely has us all feeling the blues of seeing those Summer days fading away. Now all I want to do is cuddle up on the couch when I get home and watch Harry Potter. But alas, with the time change we also have cooler weather coming through and I was SO EXCITED to wear this primary color look for Fall. You might have seen H&M pop up with some amazingly bright bold colors for Fall including hues of blue, red, yellow, purple and greens.
Who else is all about plaid trousers for Fall? I’m 100% in! From plaid flared trousers to high waisted to tapered ends, there are a multitude of colors prints and textures you can fill your closet with. I’ve already accumulated three pairs in the past few months and I don’t see it stopping. I’m really in love with this pair from Mango that have a brown wool appearance that are also high waisted.
There are so many cool trends coming out of the gates this season and one of my favorites that I heavily noticed during NYFW this year was the introduction into more technical and vintage inspired sneakers. These aren’t your grandmas walking shoes folks (although some definitely look that way).
Welcome to statement coat and sweater season! I really love adding in various prints, colors and textured coats into my wardrobe this time of the year, they can make the simplest of outfits really pop. There’s something as simple as adding a bright pop of red to a simple jeans and tee look (plus of course some cool pointed toe white mules). Styling a red longline coat might seem intimidating to some but there are a ton of ways to wear it.
All red everything am I right?! I have been living in sweaters and sweater skirts so I definitely didn’t lie in my last post when I said I am excited on these kind of pieces! Once again I’m repping all River Island pieces here and I gotta say that their styles do NOT disappoint. This all red sweater and sweater skirt set is perfect for the office come these Fall months and by adding a white heel you really add an additional pop to the look. Best part of this look is that it can be transitioned into happy hour or a date night dinner after work hours.
If you know me, then you know I’m in love with high waisted wide leg trousers and this mauve pair from Whimsy + Row is a dream. Not only are they super comfortable but they are the perfect color! The perfect mix between brown and purple that creates a really good neutral for your wardrobe. I decided to pair the trousers with a cute one shoulder blouse and white pumps for a brunch date with one of my good friends.
When your shirt is falling a part a little bit but it’s supposed to. I’m a big fan of the latest special edition collection River Island has with fashion designer Ashish. This collection has a bunch of cool and fresh gender neutral clothing pieces like this crew neck. I decided to pair this crew neck with a fun pleather zip up skirt and these adorable green feather sling back kitten heels.
I’m very excited to be partnering with Grana on their latest knitwear collection made from Mongolian Cashmere and Italian Merino Wool. Alongside their new knits, Grana is challenging everyone to explore how we pursue quality in our lives just as how they pursue quality in their clothing, fabrics and life. One of my ways I pursue quality is by taking time to step away from social media and taking in reality. I also love visiting theme parks, no matter how old I get I’ll never get sick of it! My third, but not final way I pursue quality is to be a good person and always lend a helping hand when needed.
I’m absolutely getting the biggest FOMO right now with everyone out at Paris Fashion Week so the best way for me to cope with it is dressing the part! I’ve partnered up with River Island once again to create this look! I’m loving their studio plaid wrap tie waist blazer based on the intricate detailing it has on the sleeves and on the back of the jacket which has these gorgeous clips lining the entire back.
