Welcome to statement coat and sweater season! I really love adding in various prints, colors and textured coats into my wardrobe this time of the year, they can make the simplest of outfits really pop. There’s something as simple as adding a bright pop of red to a simple jeans and tee look (plus of course some cool pointed toe white mules). Styling a red longline coat might seem intimidating to some but there are a ton of ways to wear it. I definitely think some people assume coats are limited to more dressy outfits (dresses, skirts, trousers, etc) but jeans and a graphic tee would be perfect with this kind of coat (as you can see, minus the print on the shirt). Another great way to wear this look would be with a chunky sweater and some faux leather pants to make the look a little edgier.
