A little tomboy, a little feminine, a whole lot of comfortable. I was recently introduced to The Vetiver Collection and it’s definitely a pure California easy breezy look and feel. Their designs mix masculine features with bold prints and structured designs (like this shirt dress) but also mixes in femininity with ruffles and flouncy fabrics. Every piece is easy to pair with most of your signature closet pieces plus designs like this dress are great for wearing to work with a pair of flats or with a pair of sandals to the beach on the weekends. There are a few subtle details that drew me to this particular dress, one of them being the ruffled sleeves and of course the bold striped fabric. The cut is also a great length and I can see myself being able to wear this just about anywhere, just throw on a different pair of shoes and jacket to change it up. Preferably a camel colored coat (as seen here) or something along the lines of a classic trench. Might seem a bit East Coast Ivy League attire but hey it’s all about how you wear it.
