Getting back to Fall with a plaid skirt and red turtle neck combo, straight out of Cher’s closet.
While plaid skirts normally take me to private schools on the East coast, I have to say I really like the combination with a fitted turtle neck. While it’s been blazing hot in So Cal I had to throw on this gorgeous new trench coat via W Concept, I absolutely love the subtle detailing it has that really makes it a unique a special piece.
Leather shorts are the perfect addition to my fall wardrobe so when I received this pair from Beginning Boutique I was ecstatic. I love the high waist cut with a wider leg so you can still stay feminine without looking too sexy.
Blush Off Shoulder Knit – H&M | Velvet Dress – Zara | Neverending Bliss Fur Lined Mule Loafer – Akira | Mini Bucket Bag – Hieleven | Rose Gold/Raw Peach 43mm Watch – Christian Paul
Having a blush and green moment, mixing textures, colors and silhouettes. I picked up this green slip dress for NYFW and am absolutely loving it as an everyday basic. I love the length especially for layering, whether layering under or over.
Last day of NYFW means meetings and shows. I love the print and asymmetrical cut of this skirt. It’s sexy yet sophisticated. I also opted for a halter backless stretchy top from C/MEO Collective as well.

My theme for Fashion Week this year was pops of red as you can tell. Most of this outfit is courtesy of Zara, and by most I mean everything but the shoes. I am loving the color red as of late and especially this more sporty look. Truly bringing back the 90s with this zip top with high neck that brings a sporty edge to this look.
Another look from my second day at New York Fashion Week 2016 and opted for a flowy striped co-ord that was perfect for the warm evenings during my trip. I also decided to test out my new blue metallic loafers from TopShop.
Off Shoulder Poplin Top – Zara | Two Tone Denim – H&M (Similar) | Netted Sandals – H&M | Mini Bucket Bag – Hieleven | Crystal Nicki Sunglasses – Triwa
Day two of New York Fashion Week means lazy Sundays and shopping. We popped into Acne down in Soho and did a little spending, although there were plenty of pieces I’d be more than happy to drop some bills on, I reverted to just browsing. Since it was a more casual day, I opted for a more casual look. I picked up this off shoulder poplin from Zara. I have another off shoulder poplin blouse however I loved that this one had the collar still attached which gives a very low maintenance look.
I had an incredible stay during my time at Citizen M Hotel in New York City. This hotel is located in midtown close to Times Square and just a few streets over from 5th ave. If you are looking for the perfect location for a NY getaway this is it. This hotel is based on the premise of community, with tons of lounging areas both in the lobby, outdoor patios, and rooftop bar.
Green Velvet Dress – Zara | Polite Shirt – Akira | Laura Angled Heel Ankle Boot in Maroon – EGO | Mini Saddle Bag – Ela | Star Choker Necklace – Zara
A little green velvet for my first day of New York Fashion Week 2016! This being my first trip I was so excited to just be within the city and all it has to offer during this time. I was able to mix work (day job) and play (blogging) and get a little exploring in as well.
Pairing a statement blouse and some statement jeans made easy. I absolutely love these two toned denim jeans with raw uneven hems. I have been searching for a pair like this and when I finally found them at H&M I was so distraught when they were sold out both online and in stores!
