Trying to find trendy on point outfits for the summer can be daunting. Trying to find cute alternatives to jean shorts and blouses can be tricky at times but recently I’ve made it a mission to continue pursuing my trendy fall wardrobe into the warm summer months. One way of doing which is by purchasing flowing bottoms that are not only suitable to wear everyday but moreso for the office. I know a lot of places won’t allow shorts, but as someone who constantly pushes the limits of whats considered “business casual” I’ve thrown on trouser shorts as a good alternative. These silk shorts from H&M are the PERFECT addition to my wardrobe. Not only are they the perfect length, they are very flowy and easy to pair with oversized or fitted blouses. The length allows me to wear these in a more professional environment while also being able to wear these for happy hour after work hours. In this case I threw on a strappy white tank and some lace up heeled sandals. This is the perfect casual attire for a day of shopping or running errands. To take this more into a work look I would instead pair this with a pair of mid height pumps and a button down blouse. For transitioning into evening I would choose a flowing off shoulder or strapless top and a pair of slinky strappy black sandals.
