Went for a real 90s inspired look for thrifting this past Sunday out in LA. I purchased this black cami crop top from Urban Outfitters and haven’t looked back! This piece is perfect to pair with skirts (as seen here) as well as high waisted denim or trousers. I’m excited to wear this piece throughout the summer, it’s always nice to find a flattering basic blouse that you can dress up or down! I kept my look simple with my favorite Calvin Klein thrifted denim, suede pointed toe flats, and of course my leather jacket. It started off as a cool day so when it warmed up I was more than happy to take off my jacket and show of my new favorite top. I also scored some awesome denim as well, I definitely recommend going to your local thrift store to peruse the racks first but sometimes the Melrose Trading Post sellers have some awesome high waisted denim for cheap. Just know they will need some adjusting from time to time, however one of the booths we past were selling this kind of denim (granted they were washed, worn down, and more tapered in the leg) for about $50. I definitely couldn’t pull through with it considering the jeans you see me wearing were between $8-$10 (I can’t remember exactly how much). I’d recommend thrifting a good pair and just taking them to be tailored, I haven’t had mine done yet but when you find that right pair, I definitely say it’s worth the investment. Plus some places charge only $20 or so.
