Satin Pleated Skirt – H&M | Diem Cami – Urban Outfitters | Leather Western Tip Waist and Hip Belt – ASOS | Embroidered Flowing Bomber Jacket – Zara | Round Metal Sunglasses – RayBan | Black Heeled Boots – Dolce Vita

Whether it’s new tops, or new bottoms, I’m the number one fan of mixing and matching. As I’ve become more picky with what I include in my wardrobe I know I want key pieces that will last a lifetime and be able to easily mix and match. It might be the reason why I have such a hard time committing to purchasing dresses, while I love their look and ease of wear, it’s hard to make the dress look different every single time aside from changing up accessories or a jacket. I have been on the hunt for the perfect pleated midi skirt. I usually have the issue of the skirts hitting me too long (even for being 5’6″) or they don’t hit in the right place on my body and make me look a lot wider. I love the cut of this particular pleated midi skirt I picked up from H&M, it has the perfect flow, sits great on the body and it can be worn with a simple band tee or paired with a fitted crop top as seen above. I also am loving this strappy cami top from Urban Outfitters. Feeling like its straight out of the 90s! I threw on my bomber jacket as it was pretty chilly early in the morning and here you have it, an edgy yet feminine look that has a few eras mixed in.
