Mixing a few girly pieces for this look over the past weekend. Had an amazing time cruising through the new Marina Village area in Newport Beach. They have opened a Juice Served Here and Alchemy Works that are both incredibly beautiful. It was also amazing being able to walk through a minimalists dream of black painted cottage style shops that screamed Venice Beach minus the crowds. I got this blush cropped lace top from Akira and decided to pair it with my pinafore denim dress from H&M. I love how the colors pop against one another and opted to be a little matchy matchy with my shoe choice, these pleather clear heeled ankle boots in a nude. I thought it might be hard to style these boots but surprisingly I’ve worn them more than a handful of times already (surprisingly this is the first time they’ve been photographed). I also was digging the contrast with the black background and my brighter color choices. I have to give a hand to my husband for coming through in the clutch again!

I love the details and coloring of this blouse not to mention its a great layering piece for my staple closet items that I already wear regularly. Imagine this blouse with a slip dress over it, the perfect way to make a more sophisticated dress a little more casual and fun!
