One of my favorite looks to walk into the weekend with! Nothing beats some classic vintage denim and a structured poplin shirt. I decided to add something extra to the outfit by pairing it with my new Donya Vogue longline vest! I love how the off shoulder action of the shirt and the vest create your own version of a “cold shoulder” blouse. To feminize the outfit more I threw on my lace up pointed toe heels from Aldo. These are the greatest shoes, not only are they cute, but they are also really easy to wear seeing as the heel isn’t super high! I love pairing this with a cute day look which can easily transition to evening. I also love the look of classic wash denim with black and white, theres just something about that medium wash that makes these jeans timeless. Sometimes I get in a mode and steer away from jeans, but this weekend in particular I was wearing this pair continuously as the weather decided to lighten up on us. I highly recommend going to your nearest thrift store and scoping out the denim (even the mens sections!) you never know what great pair of denim you’ll find. I’d grab as many pairs as you think will fit and try them all on. The cuts will be different on each but you can always get them tailored (as a good friend of mine pointed out). I tend to fit the waist of a lot of pants but the leg isn’t as tapered as I would like, instead of rushing off to buy from ReDone, you can always hit up a local tailor and get the legs tapered to your liking.
