I’ve partnered up with an up and coming eyewear company called Milk Eyewear to give their frames an at home try-on and to learn more about this inspiring brand!

Milk Eyewear provides premium quality frames starting at just $95. Along with providing stylish lightweight eyewear and sunglass frames, Milk also has partnered with New Eyes for the Needy providing a “get one pair, give one pair” program for all Milk Eyewear customers. Milk provides at home try-on services that allow you to test out 5 pairs of glasses prior to purchase for five full business days (all free of course!). There is also the free virtual try-on service that allows you to literally picture yourself in your new pair of Milk Eyewear frames. And finally, the icing on the cake, or should I say glasses, you can get a personal engraving of up to 10 characters on your frames!

Milk has set themselves apart from other eyewear brands by focusing on their customers, understanding and embracing that everyone is unique and has a different story. Their Frame Yourself Campaign focuses on a movement to tell your story of self-discovery and embrace the differences that make you unique. There is a point in everyones life where you begin to question who you are, where you are, and where you want to be. Milk encourages everyone to share their personal stories by using #FrameYourselfWithMilk on social media. It’s one of the main reasons I’m a big fan of Milk! I began my at home-trial by selecting five of my favorite frames to test out at home. I spent a few minutes in front of the mirror, in front of my phone camera (selfie mode) as well as my DSLR to pick out my favorite. Oh, and I also clearly had to put them on my dog 🙂 he didn’t enjoy it as much as I did. The entire process was fun and most importantly inspiring because it made me really think about how I’ve “Framed Myself” these past few years and how different my life is compared to where I thought I’d be. Read more about my story below!

Frame Yourself: There have been points in my life where I questioned what I wanted to do in my life, after college I was set on getting that 9-5 career and pursuing a happy and successful life as my parents had, while avoiding the mistakes they had made. I had never been a person to be flashy, center of attention nor step up and introduce myself to people. When my boyfriend (now husband) had suggested I begin taking some slightly more professional photos of my outfits I loved putting together I was hesitant at first. Would people think of me as trying to be a “model” would they mock my fashion sense or my love for dressing up for even the smallest occasions? My love for fashion, creating content & writing surpassed my fears I took the leap and have never looked back. From that point on my entire outlook on my future “dream career” and what I want to accomplish in my life was less about maintaining a safe and secure job and more about adventure, coming up with new ideas and continuously learning.
