Who What Wear Split Cuff Sweater – Target | Black Trousers – Forever21 | Taupe Loafer – Zara | Aviator Sunglasses – Ray-Ban | Jacket – Thrifted
Surprisingly I wasn’t aware of the Who What Wear x Target collaboration until just recently and I must say I’m incredibly amazed by the pieces! If I wasn’t saving up for an upcoming trip I would have absolutely picked up a few more pieces while I was out. I grabbed this Who What Wear blush thin knit sweater with the perfect sleeve detailing that includes a split cuff. It’s the little details of simple pieces that really makes it worth purchasing. I paired this blush sweater with a pair of my loose fitting black trousers, a pair of grey socks and my taupe loafers. I also wore this sweater to a wedding with a black flared midi skirt so it’s safe to say it’s very versatile. Be sure to checkout the other pieces in the collection Here!
Casablanca Top – Tobi | Black Culottes – Zara(Similar) | Black Bandana – ASOS | Classic Slip-On Leather – Vans | Aviator Sunglasses – Ray-Ban
A lovely sleek black outfit over the weekend was exactly what I needed. I received this amazing piece from Tobi and it is the perfect top for everyday wear or for a special occasion. In this instance, I was running a few errands over the weekend and decided to go with my usual mix of dressy & casual. One of my favorite looks that I always come across is a matching set. Luckily I paired this strapless top with my favorite pair of black culottes from Zara to give myself that Aussie like style appearance. I threw on my favorite new sneakers as well, my leather blush Vans that I can’t get enough of! They are so easy to throw on with any and everything. I’m in love with bare shoulders by the way and with my new shorter locks it works perfectly. Also the easiest way to accessorize is with a bandana, seriously, wear it as a choker, wear it as a neck scarf, the opportunities are endless.
Your daily dose of everyday fashion is here! For todays look I grabbed my new Donya Vogue white subtle pinstripe dress. Or as I like to call it, my baseball dress since the material reminds me of baseball pants! I love the cut of this dress with a high neck, stretchy material and double side slits to give it a little something extra. To make this perfect for an office environment I just threw on this sleeveless brown coat (since it is also feeling like summer with 80 degree weather) and my new vintage neck scarf I grabbed over the weekend! This is the perfect 70s inspired look that I made a little more casual by pairing it with my converse. As usual, pairing dressy and non-dressy pieces is my standard way of styling.
Quick outfit post on Valentines Day! The weather has been amazing these past few days but of course when I get a new jacket it tends to warm up. I went super casual with my look and threw together some comfy favorites to go thrifting with my mom and her boyfriend. This new brown suede biker jacket from Missguided is my new favorite, its soft, lightweight and super easy to throw on with anything. What’s nice about this jacket is you can easily wear your favorite tee and jeans and some sneakers and your set to go! I haven’t worn my Campus sneaks in awhile so it was great to bring them back out for a day of walking around downtown. I also found some amazing thrift finds as well which I’m sure you’ll all see soon enough! Also, who doesn’t love the look of white distressed boyfriend jeans? Amiright?
Short Sleeve Shirt with Pockets – ASOS | High Waisted Denim – Zara | Western Trim Belt – ASOS | Leopard Booties – Zara (Similar) | Prism Fedora – Lack of Color
One of my favorite looks to go to, a favorite pair of denim and a structured short sleeve white shirt. I found the perfect white button down from ASOS and of course, ON SALE. I seriously can’t pass up a great deal. The sleeves are mid length but cut like a short sleeve shirt so you can easily roll up the sleeves for that James Dean look (which I love). I also decided to spice up this outfit with some printed shoes. I finally found the perfect pair of leopard booties! Unfortunately the pointed toe is difficult to break in so my toes are a little sore from walking in these all day but they are totally worth it. The kitten heel adds a little extra MEOW to this look and at $20, I could NOT pass these up. Printed or statement shoes are a great way to spice up some basic or older pieces in your closet. This pair along with my glitter ankle boots are two of my better shoe investments!
Top with Laces – Zara | Skinny Boyfriend Jeans – Zara | Arizona Sandal – Birkenstock | Western Belt – ASOS
Quick post today, it was unbearably windy and warm so I opted for a super casual outfit to run errands in and get my nails done. I found the perfect outfit (yes outfit) at Zara the other day. I seriously had not planned on buying anything aside from a pair of leopard print booties (on sale mind you) and walked out with the boots, pants, and a top. Normally I never walk out of the mall with anything, for some reason I’ve gravitated heavily towards online shopping, maybe its the clothing offers that I enjoy so much more, or the fact that I don’t feel like I’m actually spending the money because whatever I bought won’t arrive for 5-7 business days.
I found these jeans thrown into the sale section and I have to say I’m so glad I dug through that area. These are the perfect pair of high waisted heavily tapered mom style jeans. Think about if you were to thrift a pair of Levi’s but have the bottoms fit perfectly to your body shape and you’ve got this pair of jeans. Oh, also they were only $15.99 so you can’t really beat that. As for the top, It’s also a Zara purchase however its from their new collection. I love the ribbed style and of course the lace up front, it will be an easy wear over the summer with shorts or skirts. Nothing I love more than a lace up top, so glad these are becoming the new IT piece to have. I also really like this top in particular because the lace up portion doesn’t go too low, making this one easy to wear during the day and night!
One of my favorite looks to walk into the weekend with! Nothing beats some classic vintage denim and a structured poplin shirt. I decided to add something extra to the outfit by pairing it with my new Donya Vogue longline vest! I love how the off shoulder action of the shirt and the vest create your own version of a “cold shoulder” blouse. To feminize the outfit more I threw on my lace up pointed toe heels from Aldo. These are the greatest shoes, not only are they cute, but they are also really easy to wear seeing as the heel isn’t super high! I love pairing this with a cute day look which can easily transition to evening. I also love the look of classic wash denim with black and white, theres just something about that medium wash that makes these jeans timeless. Sometimes I get in a mode and steer away from jeans, but this weekend in particular I was wearing this pair continuously as the weather decided to lighten up on us. I highly recommend going to your nearest thrift store and scoping out the denim (even the mens sections!) you never know what great pair of denim you’ll find. I’d grab as many pairs as you think will fit and try them all on. The cuts will be different on each but you can always get them tailored (as a good friend of mine pointed out). I tend to fit the waist of a lot of pants but the leg isn’t as tapered as I would like, instead of rushing off to buy from ReDone, you can always hit up a local tailor and get the legs tapered to your liking.
I call this look, the urban cowgirl. I recently grabbed this Lack of Color Prism Fedora from Pacsun (on ridiculous sale might I add) and just knew I had to have it! I’ve been lacking in a good black fedora so it only made sense! I decided to keep it super casual with some of my go-to edgy pieces. In the mix is my favorite pair of lace up trousers from Zara, a Forever21 mock neck sweater, thrifted Lee black denim jacket and of course my Aldo buckled chelsea boots. Nothing says edgy more than leather and denim. While I might have received some looks at the office, this is the perfect casual edgy look to run around town in. I can definitely see this as a thrifting outfit!
Quick little outfit post because its FREEZING in Southern California and I don’t know what to do with myself. I decided to go the only way I know how to when its this cold, layer, layer layer, like an Olson twin. I threw on a few of my favs, my black Zara culottes pair perfectly with my Simmi Shoes square toe, square heel boots. I love the look of a slender boot with cropped trousers!
On top I kept it super casual with a soft somewhat fitted white tee, a super old yet chunky infinity scarf and my Zara go-to cozy cardigan sweater. Let me tell you, I wore this complete look at the office all day but when it came to walking to my car I had to throw on another jacket, cold + me = no thanks.

There is a point in everyones life where you begin to question who you are, where you are, and where you want to be. Milk encourages everyone to share their personal stories by using #FrameYourselfWithMilk on social media. It’s one of the main reasons I’m a big fan of Milk! I began my at home-trial by selecting five of my favorite frames to test out at home. I spent a few minutes in front of the mirror, in front of my phone camera (selfie mode) as well as my DSLR to pick out my favorite. Oh, and I also clearly had to put them on my dog he didn’t enjoy it as much as I did. The entire process was fun and most importantly inspiring because it made me really think about how I’ve “Framed Myself” these past few years and how different my life is compared to where I thought I’d be. Read more about my story below!
Frame Yourself: There have been points in my life where I questioned what I wanted to do in my life, after college I was set on getting that 9-5 career and pursuing a happy and successful life as my parents had, while avoiding the mistakes they had made. I had never been a person to be flashy, center of attention nor step up and introduce myself to people. When my boyfriend (now husband) had suggested I begin taking some slightly more professional photos of my outfits I loved putting together I was hesitant at first. Would people think of me as trying to be a “model” would they mock my fashion sense or my love for dressing up for even the smallest occasions? My love for fashion, creating content & writing surpassed my fears I took the leap and have never looked back. From that point on my entire outlook on my future “dream career” and what I want to accomplish in my life was less about maintaining a safe and secure job and more about adventure, coming up with new ideas and continuously learning.
