Spent a really really….really warm February Sunday out in the Arts District in DTLA this past weekend. I must say I’m accustomed to the fashion district as well as Melrose all too well but this was an incredibly quiet and peaceful trip in comparison. Spent the day coffee and food hopping while grabbing a few blog photos in between. Being used to the struggles of LA parking we decided to walk everywhere which wouldn’t have been an issue in 70 degree weather but the warm 82 degree day was a little much, not to mention no one really told me the Arts district actually HAS street parking readily available to you.

Knowing it would be a tad on the warm side I decided to finally wear my new lace insert cami from Tobi. I’ve been searching for the perfect lace lingerie style cami to pair with some of my boyfriend jeans this spring and this was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I love the feminine lace touch on the top so I decided to pair it with a few masculine pieces that include a pair of trousers and my New Balance kicks. As you know I’m a huge fan of Athleisure styling which I think adds a fun touch to toning down a dressed up look. Not to mention it makes it really easy to walk around town searching for coffee and pastries. Luckily the entire look was incredibly comfortable since the trousers have a loose fit on top and are fitted towards the bottom.
