First day back in the office after a weekend of casual attire means…I have no idea what to wear. When in doubt, I go for this high waisted pencil skirt. The length is perfect for work while still maintaining my age with a fitted look. This cold shoulder top has been holding a spot in the back of my closet as of late, but it has one of my favorite fits for a blouse. Usually I have trouble with blouses with them being either too heavy, see through, or too stiff and unmanageable to tuck in.

The shoulder cut off gives my work attire a stylish look without appearing too casual. With this skirt being so tight it is near impossible to tuck something into it unless it is fairly short and thin. (No one likes shirt bulge in their bottoms) To take full advantage of the slender silhouette of this skirt I tied the bottom of my top versus buttoning down. You also get a little bit of European holiday flair with it as well don’t you think?
