Essential Sandals

I have this problem of always buying boots or heels throughout the year. It is great for 80% of my life but when spring and summer roll around you start doing a lot more traveling and walking which isn’t always great for heels or closed toe shoes (especially with the sunny California weather). I’m really bad at making the decision to buy sandals since I assume they are limited to the summer months. I only have one pair that are fashionably appropriate (not flip flops). But low and behold, some of the latest sandal trends having been cruising through my mind and inspiring a lot of outfit ideas, including those for fall! Here are a few of my favorites, all $70 or less from Urban Outfitters.

The Flatform

Perfect for a printed sun dress and some big sunnies.

The Gladdiator

Grab those high waisted shorts and a crochet top and you’ll be festival ready all summer long.

The Caged Sandal

I’m a fan of these since they have the illusion of a small cut out boot. These are great for some high waisted trousers and cropped top.

Holographic/Glitter Sandal

Every girl should have a pair of glitter sandals or a holographic pair. They are so fun to spice up any basic outfit. Plus, they second as somewhat “formal” shoes. Just incase you aren’t in the mood for heels (guilty).

Printed Canvas Sandals

Pair of boyfriend jeans and a white v-neck. Enough said.
